When I Was Getting My Master's Degree

When I was getting my Master's Degree in Business Administration, one of my favorite subjects to study was the Federal Reserve. When I taught Adult Education classes in Livingston, MT on writing business plans, I would always incorporate lessons on the Federal Reserve so prospective business owners would gain an understanding of inflation and how it is controlled. Inflation is one of the topics I am hearing about from folks as I talk with people throughout Montana. Understanding how government works is key to understanding our part in it, how to influence it, and how to create the change we want to see. In regard to inflation, we all play a part. Our Federal Reserve system is fascinating, brilliant, complex, and yet, fundamentally based on the simple common sense of supply and demand.
